A couple of hours ago, I watched "We Girls" latest music video, and I was intrigued, so I ended up listening to their new EP "Ride", and I though I haven't fallen in love with it, I think its worth checking.
Ride: The title track screams summer song, and I really think it would've had the potential to perform quite well had it been released a couple months earlier.From the beat {which sounds a bit familiar but I cant put my hand on the song I'm reminded of} to the lyrics that talk about having fun and letting go, the members sound equally decent on the vocals and the rap parts.
I really think their company made a mistake by choosing September as a release date.

Heart Beat: This song could've been good, but it failed due to the over "cuteness" it tries to convey. I think cute concepts can be exceptionally good if done correctly, but I feel like this song is just way over the top! from the beat to the some voices the girls keep making.It was just too much.

Ride Camp ver: This is sort of the acoustic version of the title track, and I pretty much liked them the same. Its slower, calmer but its still as solid.

Time to Go: This one was a nice surprise. After a "Heart Beat" and then seeing another version of "Ride", I feared all this EP had going for it was the title track but 'Time to Go' was good.
The beat goes hard, so does the rap at the ending, the vocal sections still convey the cute vibe the group seems to focus on, but the contrast with the strong beat was a welcome.

*Final Thoughts: I really believe its a decent EP. It has a good vibe, some nice tunes, and I could see the group turn into a favourite of many if it gets the right amount of exposure. If you are into cute concepts, definitely give it a try.
