EXO has one of the best discographies in Kpop, and with so many good songs to praise, some gems tend to be forgotten, and no one really talks about how good they are, so I'm here to remind you of THREE awesome, but sadly underrated songs by the group.

"Promise" from "Love Me Right":
I fell in love with this song the moment I heard Baekhyun's voice in the opening. The vocalists just killed the first half, Chen, Lay, D.O and Baekhyun parts had me so emotional before the chorus hit me even harder,.Chanyeol's rap here is one of his best. His delivery, his flow., the way he starts slowly then his pitch goes steadly higher and harder, the emotions he exhibits!! He was incredibly good. Xiumin and Lay singing to Baekhyun before Chen's amazing high note was perfect. Not to mention the great beat and the incredibly beautiful lyrics! Lay did an amazing job composing and writing this song.
I could praise this track for days,weeks, months even! I really wish more people would listen to it and give it the love and appreciation it deserves.

*Final Thoughts: This song is not just a great EXO song, it's a great song period. I chose Chanyeol and Lay as the stars, because the first killed it with the rap, while Lay is to thank for this song's existence because he composed and wrote it, but honestly all of them did a great job, I mean Chen's vocals and high note, D.O's emotional delivery, Baekyun and Suho were amazing, all of them did so well.

"Sweet Lies" form "The War:The Power of Music"
"The War" and it's repackage, are underrated!So, it is not a surprise one of the songs on there, shares a similar fate of being under appreciated. This song is rarely praised when its better than what half other groups put out today.
I believe EXO does the R&B inspired sound better than most, and this song is no exception. The sound and beat are so catchy, they hook you immediately. I truly believe if some American R&B artist reordered some stupid lyrics to this beat, people would 've jammed to it because it has such a nice vibe.
I also dig the lyrics,and I love the crossing and overlap of voices, Chanyeol and Minseok part for example sounds really good. All mebers did great, but till this day, I still can't get over how good D.O sounded here, he's insaley good.

I still get mad when I think of how poorly SM treated this song. It had barley any kind promotion when it deserved so much. I don't tend to love when Korean idols sing in Japanese or Chinese, but EXO literally slayed this song.

Baekyun's opening, the build up with the three main vocalists and Suho before the chorus, Chanyeol and Sehun' rap, everyhting about this song was addictive.
