"Make It Right" Remix: How Good Is It?

A couple of days ago, I uploaded a post about some Unpopular BTS Opinions, and in  it; I mentioned how underwhelming MOTS:Persona actually was.

Today, the group released a remix for one of the songs from that album with a feature from a beloved American artist.

"Make it Right" is the song we're talking about, and it was probably one of the better tracks on that record, and Lauv, the singer BTS decided to collab with here, has given us some pretty cool tracks most noticeably "I like Me Better" and his collab with Troye Sivan: "I'm so Tired...".
The beat remains exactly the same, but instead of Taehyung, the song opens with Lauv. The lyrics are ok, but his voice works really well with the song, it was really enjoyable to listen to his pitch change from one verse to another, his control ,as it is known to many, is pretty cool.

Right after Lauv finishes his part, we get the original "Make It Right" with rap verses from Jhope and Namjoon, the vocalists, and finally Yoongi's verse.

I truly think Lauv's voice worked beautifully with the beat and rhythm of the song, and it also worked great with the other members, I truly wish they would collab on an original song one day because there is a sense of harmony amongst all of their voices.

If you're active on social media, you probably know that many fans, especially those who love Taehyung, have been upset for cutting the vocalists verses and having Lauv sing instead, and though I respect everyone's opinion, I have to disagree on that matter.

The vocalists still had their share in the song, and having such a remix requires such measures, it's a completely normal move and for anyone who didn't like having Lauv open the song, you can always go back to the original and enjoy the version that you prefer.

The music video that accompanies this remix was the best part in my opinion, as much as I loved Lauv presence, the message the video sends was so sweet.

For BTS to appreciate their fandom in such a meaningfull way, and explain how vital they are in helping them by always having their backs, was truly a great gesture from them, and it really emphasizes the beautiful and very special relation ARMY has with their idols.

"Make It Right" Card:
*Score: 7.3/10
*Label: Good
*Star of the Song: Lauv/Namjoon
*Final Thoughts: As was mentioned in the beginning, Make It Right was one of the better and stronger tracks on MOTS, and Lauv was an excellent choice for this remix because the beat works so well for his style, and his voice really suited the other boys.

The question for today is which version do you prefer: Make it Right the orginal? or the Lauv one?
